Through a vibrant network of local societies in the United Kingdom the The Arts Society opens up the world of arts to everyone. With monthly lectures on a broad range of topics as well as study days, and educational visits, a The Arts Society branch is not just a great way to learn - it's a fun way of making new and lasting friendships. The Arts Society has a world membership of more than 80,000. BRIDFAS - The Arts Society of Osnabrück e.V. is member  of The Arts Society  and was founded in 1997 by Lady Caroline Richards -the wife of the then British Garrison Commander in Osnabrück - as the British Decorative and Fine Art Society of Osnabrück-Münster-Herford.

Our season commences in September and ends in June. We have eight lecture evenings and normally one Study Day which is organised by our sister society in Hamburg and to which our members are very kindly invited. We have an annual excursion, usually in May or an organised tour abroad such as to the United Kingdom.

Our lectures are held in the Parkhotel, Edinghausen 1, 49076 Osnabrück, the lectures begin promptly at  7:30pm and last approximately 1 hour. Doors open at 7:00pm. We are very pleased to receive guests at our lectures at an entrance fee of 10 € per lecture, students 5 €, KUKUK-cards welcome. Our annual membership fee per person is € 75.00
